Less confusion. More clarity. Better days
When we first started searching for help parenting our child with ADHD, we were overwhelmed. Every website, book, and expert seemed to have different advice, leaving us more confused than supported. That’s why we created this resource: we’ve scoured the internet, sifted through the noise, and pulled together the most trusted, evidence-based strategies into a simple, 5-step guide.
Our goal is to give parents clear, practical tools that actually work — without the overwhelm.

Resources We Used
The 5-Step Parenting Guide for ADHD was carefully built using evidence-based resources from the most trusted organizations in child development and mental health. We drew on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) to ensure medical and behavioral accuracy. Practical strategies were adapted from CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD) and the Child Mind Institute, which specialize in supporting families navigating ADHD. We also incorporated insights from ADDitude Magazine’s extensive parenting resources, as well as the educational work of ‘How to ADHD’ creator Jessica McCabe. Finally, the guide is informed by leading ADHD parenting books, including Taking Charge of ADHD by Russell Barkley, 8 Keys to Parenting Children with ADHD by Cindy Goldrich, What Your ADHD Child Wishes You Knew by Sharon Saline, and The Explosive Child by Ross Greene. Together, these resources ensure our guide is not only simplified for parents but firmly rooted in research and best practices.

Our Book
We understand the unique journey of raising neurodivergent children, and we are dedicated to empowering parents with resources that inspire confidence and support growth.
